Thirty Day Challenge 2008 is here again. Ed Dale organized an online launch party to mark the inauguration of 30DC 2008. It is a huge annual internet marketing event with more participants than any other online event anywhere in the world. Last year over ten thousand people around the world took part in the TDC and this year the number could only grow. Last year, I took part in the Thirty Day Challenge as a newbie who was trying hard to make some money from the internet. I eventually managed to win the challenge by earning the all important $10 on the 27th day of the challenge. Actually I earned a little over $13. Somebody bought the ClickBank product I was promoting and thus made my first ever affiliate sale. It was followed by another sale on Day 29. Same amount but double the joy.

This year I’m looking forward to do my 2nd Thirty Day Challenge and I feel the excitement already. What about you? Are you participating or not? If you are a newbie you must participate because you won’t find a month long training as extensive as 30DC anywhere else. And guess what . . . . it’s absolutely free. You don’t pay a dime for it. Yet another Social Bookbarking Toolbar ?

Submitatonce Site Love Toolbar. I don’t know why, but I found both Social Marker and Social Poster a bit . . . . . well, the idea was great but it wasn’t for me. Onlywire is a great time saver but I don’t know why it often fails with some of the services mentioned in their list. There is a workaround like you need to be always logged in to all the services during the bookmarking process which kills the push button type usability it is known for.

So what I did at that time was developed my own system which involves a tabbed browser like Firefox and RoboForm (not just the best password manager around but more than that …) .

Lately Shareaholic, which is a Firefox (and Flock) add on, is in the news and it really is very user friendly. No wonder it is enjoying a huge fan following. I also like Shareaholoic and actually have it installed in both Firefox andFlock. But then again, I found that there are a few services that are not included in this excellent extension. Faves, Propeller, Soup etc. to name a few of them.

I was discussing about it with one of my friends who gave me a simple yet effective solution – “Why don’t you amke your own extension or a may be a toolbar”. “But I know nothing about it”, I said. “Then find out how to do it”, replied my friend. And soon enough I learned how to make a toolbar and decided to create one to make my tagging exercises fast and easy. And here it is – the Submitatonce Site Love Toolbar. I primarily made it for myself but some of my friends tested it (I asked some of my friends to test it) and they appreciated my work. Encouraged by the appreciation I decided to go ahead and put it up here for you to download and install. I don’t know if you are going to like it, but I love my stuff .

What do you think ? Want to give it a try ? Great. It’s right up there on the top of the sidebar. Firefox and Flock users can install it instantly as usual, while if you are still using Internet Explorer only, you have to download the toolbar first ( some services might just not work in Internet Explorer ). You may get warning like always and have to allow the installation.

I’ve been Firefox for quite some time now…. in fact I’m using it for more than 3 years. Not that I totally dumped Internet Explorer since I design web sites for my self and you need to test a web page in IE as it’s actually used by the vast majority of internet users. And I did like the IE7 a lot.

Recently I installed the Flock browser using it along with Firefox and Internet Explorer. I won’t use the word “switch” because I haven’t switched from Firefox to Flock, only added it to my arsenal. Thirty Day Challenge 2008 – Pre Season is here

The annual Thirty Day Challenge is almost here again. Ed Dale raised the curtain by announcing the beginning of the Pre Season earlier today on the Thirty Day Challenge TV. TDC 2007 was my first ever and I did make the $10 well before it was over. And it was my first affiliate commission ever. What a feeling that was. Web 2.0 and social bookmarking and using them to build and promote your site was the highlight of the 2007 version of the Thirty Day Challenge. Tens of thousands of people joined the challenge last year. And this year it could only get bigger and better. What should be this year’s highlight, will teaming up be as important as it was in last years challenge, there are rumors that Twitter and twitting is going to take a very important role – the guess work is on.
