“SEO services” is a vague description of the kind of work that might be done… It really depends on what you want done, how big the job is, how experienced the SEO is, how bad the site being optimized is, what niche your site is in, and a host of other factors.

There really is no way to answer your questions without a LOT more information. But as the previous poster stated, SEO is an ongoing thing… You don’t just do it for a couple of months, get your site to rank, and then leave it alone. SEO is an ongoing project, the way that the search engines rank and grade changes everyday. Now, to initally set up your site and make it SEO friendly so that search engines can “read” your site well and make sure you are keyword enriched…this usually takes about a month. But that’s just the beginning, if you stop tweaking your website, link building, etc. then it was all for nothing.

Getting your site listed in major search engine shouldn’t take for long – around 15 days. But to see an effect of SEO with respect to ranking on target keywords in the first 2 pages of SERPs would take around 3 to 6 months.

All depends on how competitive the market is. Weight loss, good luck without an established and trusted site. As far as local is concerned, ranking for “local bakery new york” wouldn’t be all that hard.

It is fully depend upon your targetted keywords and Competition. Minimum 6 months are required for getting page rank and ranking.
