KaBoom – Web Promotion, the social bookmarking way
December 29, 2007 – 9:29 amI have always believed that social bookmarking sites are excellent sources for quality back links as well as targeted traffic. As a web site owner you should always look for social bookmarking your sites and join communities that practice social bookmarking among themselves. This is often referred to as ‘giving love to web sites’ or simply ‘loving the web sites’, terms coined by well known Australian internet marketing expert Ed Dale ( Stompernet, Thirty Day Challenge, Dominiche, Immediate Edge etc. etc. ).
Today I’ll introduce you to a paid Social Bookmarking community membership web site called Ka Boom Marketing – ka-boom-marketing.com. The promoters of this site, Camilla Ricketts and Sarah Harris are personally known to me and I’m telling you they know exactly what they are doing. KaBoom, the social tagging network they started, has been just launched a few days back. They have already sent emails out to their lists and did some other no-hype promotions as well. They’re planning on starting the tagging from next week onwards. And guess what, KaBoom has gotten quite a few sign ups already.
The promoters claim that yes, the traffic will be totally targeted, it uses the bookmarking techniques as recommended by Ed Dale in thirtydaychallenge.com , just on a grander scale, and simplified and organized. The system has been streamlined to be able to do all of your tagging in under one hour. With only 50 members and 16 social bookmarking sites to post to, it is possible to acquire something like 800 tags. At this point of time you can submit 1 web site every week for Ka Booming. The 16 social bookmarking sites include Facebook, Twitter, Soup, Propeller, Yahoo, Technorati, Furl, Newsvine, Stumble, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, Google.com, Clipmarks, My Jeeves and Friendster. more sites like Slashdot etc. will be added in the network.
I thought, it’s a great idea in itself to get the social bookmarking activity organized and offer it in a professionally and Ka Boom just might be on the right track. So, do consider to join the Ka Boom Marketing network should you wish to have huge number of quality back links and targeted traffic to your web site.

Thanks Ameet
We wanted to give you an update on Ka-Boom-Marketing
We have achieved a pr4 and a pr5 for our members in 30 days on brand new sites, also some of our members also have pr for their internal pages.
We have a few spaces left open and will be doing an affiliate program both for our new basic marketing book, and for the mentoring program.
Best of all we are having a blast and building a community of friends, and sharing.

Is this different from the new wave of bookmarking services like social poster and social marker?
By Mark from cat health on Feb 3, 2008
Yes this is different.
We use social marker and social poster, but this is a community that works together to leverage the bookmarking. We also help each other in many different ways to promote our sites, and increase the traffic, and page position. After your site is posted to the social bookmarking places it helps if you have a list of friends that you can count on and will also check it out and vote on it for you.

Very nice, I agree fully, we have already started to do most of what you are promoting. Social book marking is big, but you also have do SEO to the site. Our site has some great Vb mods called VbSeo which really helps some indexing in all the major search engines, site:http://kaboomit.com went from 1,000 to almost 13,000 in just a matter of weeks! The directory, article, blog, arcade, etc parts of the site are also great tools for Back links which also contribute to a huge part of PR ranking. But the key niche is to get user to sign up and become very active, this takes allot of effort. We also own CiberNoviazgo.com which is also doing very well, but we don’t stay as active on this site, we have installed a great SEO blog and do continue to add content and book marketing etc, but its all about the what people want. I love your idea’s here, great work, we should network, email me at admin@KaboomIt.com
Best
